Day 125 - Monday

1. Analysis of last year's DBQ, w/ samples.        - Determine what the question is asking (2 min)        - Analyze and sort docs (20 min w/ partner)        - Contextualize and Thesis (7 minutes)                  WE ARE NOT ACTUALLY WRITING IT OUT!     Now look at the sample responses        - Score them on the rubric        - Explain your answers! 2.  Teacher Notes from Nightly Readings  (Tomorrow) Artists of the Week: Prince and The Kinks

Day 123 - Thursday

1.  Period 7 chart work!       For today, you will be working on a review of the Presidential Administrations of Period 7 in APUSH.  For each president, you will be asked to examine their time in office, what issues they faced and how certain groups changed over the time.       - You and a partner/pod should be able to make a considerable dent in this. You should be working the entire time.       - It will be for points, fill it out to the best of your ability. I will be checking your progress when I get back. There should be a considerable amount of info in each box. DON'T SKIMP ON DETAILS       - Paper copies will be available, but feel free to do it digitally as well 2. Test is next week, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Be sure you are caught up on reading and notes.....

Write a Thesis for this Prompt         - The Key Concept is a statement.         -Turn the key idea in that statement into your answer, add DDS and tell me why it's true.         -Apply one or two of the historical thinking skills            (CCOT, Cause/Effect, Compare/Contrast) Total:   A.
